  • New hires can expect to be placed on our starting wage scale of $98,600 to $118,300 per year
  • Based on performance, there is room to grow on our full wage scale of $98,600 to $138,000 per year

Work Schedule:

  • Full time, M-F
  • 4/10's between 7:30a-6:30p

Job Summary

As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide optimum periodontal/hygiene services and oral health education to Unity Care NW patients. You would provide traditional hygiene services such as scaling and root-planning. You may also provide sealants, screenings & radiographs, restorative fills, etc. You would be responsible for the setup and cleanup of dental rooms and charting. .

Requirements
  • An Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene
  • Two years' previous DH experience
  • A current Washington State Dental Hygienist License with no actions taken
  • A current BLS certification
  • Ability to place and finish restorative materials and sealants.
  • General knowledge of basic dental policies & procedures and oral health issues, especially regarding oral hygiene.
  • General office skills such as computers (Dentrix and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word & Excel), faxes, telephones, and copy machines.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work load.
  • Ability to maintain an effective and positive professional working relationship with staff and patients at all times.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a community or public health setting
  • Experience working with adults in underserved populations
