Position Status:
Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

Clinic Hours:

  • Monday – Friday | 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday | 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Sign-On Bonus:
$21,000 (Internal candidates currently employed at NWHS are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.)

Compensation:
Provider compensation is salary-based. The base salary for a Physician (MD/DO) ranges from $188,656 to $235,872, with potential to earn up to $283,088 based on experience.

If so, we invite you to join our primary care treatment team at the Total Health Community Clinic and make an impactful difference in the lives of those in need.

In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical and behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive care coordination. This includes working closely with Community Health Workers, Medical Assistants, Nurses, Mental Health Case Managers, Counselors, Psychiatrists, Psych Nurse Practitioners, and other team members to address the complex needs of our patients and ensure continuity of care.


Your Team:

Specific Duties:

  • Oversee patient care coordination, including specialty referrals, follow-up, case management, and enabling services.
  • Provide medical services, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical students, providing consultation and supervision when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Meet productivity expectations while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Actively participate in organizational initiatives such as 340B usage, Patient Centered Medical Home certification, and Meaningful Use requirements.
  • Work within an integrated care team to coordinate care with dental and behavioral health professionals.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO with completion of Primary Care residency (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics) and board certification.
  • Licensed to practice in Oregon with prescriptive authority and DEA.
  • Ability to provide Obstetrical care is preferred.
  • Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual/bicultural candidates strongly preferred, especially in English/Spanish.
  • Previous experience in community health is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and take call as needed.
  • Valid Oregon Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance.
  • CPR certification in infant, child, and adult required.
