What You’ll Do
As a Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Interviewing patients and recording vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height)
- Preparing treatment rooms and assisting providers during exams and procedures
- Administering injections, performing routine lab tests, and operating diagnostic equipment (e.g., EKG)
- Maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilizing instruments
- Scheduling tests and coordinating with other medical departments
- Participating in quality assurance and compliance efforts
- Supporting a culture of safety, confidentiality, and teamwork
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; plus one year of Medical Assistant experience in a family practice setting
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to calculate drug dosages and interpret clinical instructions
- Flexibility to work across locations and shifts
- Bilingual/bicultural skills strongly preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
