What You’ll Do as a Physician Assistant
As a Physician Assistant on our team, you’ll:
Provide direct patient care including preventive services, diagnosis, and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
Manage chronic conditions in consultation with supervising physicians
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and imaging
Refer patients for specialty services not provided in-house
Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and serve as a preceptor when needed
Uphold clinic safety standards and confidentiality protocols
What You Bring
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and MSN
Current Oregon license to practice medicine, DEA registration, and CPR certification
Experience in FQHC or underserved settings preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Sensitivity to culturally diverse populations
Professional, patient-centered attitude
Clear from any State or Federal exclusion lists
